The slc amazing race held yesterday was indeed ''AMAZING''.
Met ruiyan 7 15 am at cwp.. called Jt and asked where was he..
and he told me he jux woke up -.-''
haha..
so only the 2 of us headed to MAC for breakfast :)

Report at forum on time at 8am.. we got our goodies bag n changed into the amzazing race tee which we've paid 8 bucks earlier on. Not forgetting my team name was AVALON.. and people thought it was ABALONE.. lols.

Avalon means island paradise in Celtic mythology .. whereas abalone is e expensive food sporean loves most .. wad a big difference euu noe ?? haha

We started off aound 8 45 am, thus everyone chiong to cwp mrt.. lOuis ran the fastest in our team.. haha..
and our first destination was at kembangan.. tat was darn far from woodlands you know !!
and we played some games dere.. and the gals tied our leg untill shOoo tight -.-''

nevertheless we completed the game with encouraging each other in e team.. like what aidi had quoted ' NO PAIN NO GAIN ' and it was indeed true :)

Next station was at Toa payoh.. we went ard searching for the slc people like some insane people and we also ran inside the HDB hub.. and got scolded by the security.. hahaha..

and this continues for the next 5 hours or so..

To sum up, these were the place we've been to

woodlands---kembangan---Toa payoh--- Bedok---Yishun---chinatown---Dohby ghaut !

My team completed 6 stations in total out of 13 stations.. it's an achievment though. However the most annoying part was that from east to north to east agin.. and kembangan and bedok is just one stop only -.-''

It's indeed a waste of tiiMe and MRT fare :(

Nevertheless, we managed to head back to schOol on tiiMe.. ard 3 45pm.. most of us were feeling exhausted by then..

while waiting for the slc commitee to talbulate the score, we headed to the canteen for some buffet dinner.

The result was announced at 7 pm. Surprisingly our team, AVALON, came in 7th out of the 35 teams.. same as zaki's team.. well done peOple :) and afta this race, I came to realise that team work is indeed important.. thus that's what service learning in rp is all about !!
